Don't be afraid to try...Remember, amateurs built the ark and professionals built the Titanic!
Dana Bratti is originally from Philadelphia, PA, and has lived in Long Island, NY for the last 12 years. No matter how long she lives in New York, she swears she will always be a Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan! She is a senior sales manager at a major pharmaceutical company in the cardiovascular specialty arena, where she has worked for the past 13 years. She has obtained some of her company's most prestigious sales and coaching awards during that time. She has been married for seven years and has two tremendous children, a daughter (5) and a son (3). She has played sports her entire life and played varsity soccer and ran track collegiately at NYU, where she obtained her BS in nutrition and exercise physiology and collected numerous athletic and academic achievements. Currently, when not working 80 hours a week, she enjoys competing in Tough Mudders, adventure races, triathlons, trail runs and coaching her daughter's soccer team. She really aims to get in a solid, sweaty workout at least five to six times a week with some combination of longer cardio and strength training. Most recently she started obsessing over becoming a better, faster triathlete and is thinking about competing in the half iron distance for 2013/2014. Thank goodness she is a morning person because most of the time she fits this in at 5:00 a.m. before getting her kids up and suiting up for work! She and her husband really enjoy these adventures together and she credits her amazing marriage to the fact that they enjoy the same activities and can continue to challenge each other to be better. They also work together, too, so talk about a real partnership! In her spare time she really enjoys finding new alternative music to add to her playlist, collecting race t-shirts, experimenting with new vegetarian recipes, chowing down on chips and salsa and creating 100 to-do lists to keep all the tasks in order!
