Bio:

Dianne grew up in Southwestern Ontario. She was an overweight child and young adult. You would find Dianne baking cookies on a Saturday night instead of going out with friends or on a date. (She ate a good portion of those cookies!!) Dianne was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in her mid-twenties. Once the disease was under control, Dianne realized that she was going to have to do something about her activity and eating patterns. She lost weight with the help of Weight Watchers and started working out, even joining a running club. Unfortunately, due to a knee injury, Dianne’s running was short lived. Dianne knows that even with an injury, you can find ways to be active. Modification is the key! She may not be able to do the plyometric moves of Turbo Fire, her favorite workout, but that doesn’t mean she has to modify the intensity! Dianne has begun completing 5k walks this year and her goal is to complete a 5k every month for 2013.
