Don't worry about everyone around you...run your own race and beat yourself.
Jennifer has been a Sporty Girl since the early age of five when she began playing T-ball. She continued to move up, playing softball and basketball with the recreation department and stuck with it all throughout high school, adding track and even JV baseball to the mix. She was a girls basketball coach for the therapeutic boarding school she worked for in college, and that's when she realized she wanted to major in Physical Education. She has recently taken up running and is training to run her first half marathon at Walt Disney World in the Princess Half Marathon next February while finding her way back to being fit. She started her blog, "Hello Fitness...We Meet Again" to help hold herself accountable during her training and to possibly inspire, courage, and/or motivate someone to be active. Her fitness goals include running a race in all 50 states, exploring various forms of training (crossfit, yoga, etc), and to one day complete the Goofy Challenge. Jennifer is a born and raised Georgia girl and has been married for 3 years. She is mom to Guinness, their Dobie/Shepherd mix. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and the Georgia Bulldogs. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
