"No one has ever regretted a workout!" I say that to myself a lot if I'm having an off day! I just know that getting out there and being active and eating right will always make me feel better!
Kim discovered her love for running in 2008. She was watching the popular NBC show The Biggest Loser and became inspired by the first female winner. She started by hopping onto her unused treadmill and trying out the beginner setting. That turned into the next setting and then so on... In December of 2008 she completed her first race, a four mile holiday run! That was enough to get her motivated to do more races! Since then she's done many 5k and 10k races, run eight half marathons (her fave distance) and run a full marathon! She's also found a new love for biking and competed in her first duathlon this year. She has definitely found her passion for running and fitness!
Last year she even mentored a group of 10 women from her church to complete their first 5k! It was a very emotional experience for them all! It's her passion and she wants to share it with anyone that she can!
Kim is a full-time hairdresser, mom to one son and wife. Her goal is to one day become a Certified personal trainer!
