LesserEvil Krinkle Sticks Review

Snack happy

LesserEvil Krinkle Sticks Review

I'm a big snacker, especially when it comes to salty and crunchy snacks. My mom can attest to this. When I was little, she used to buy a three pound bag of pretzels that I would proceed to take into my room and munch on for hours while I read book after book after book.

Thank goodness that in addition to being a bookworm, I was also an athlete!

These days I'm still a big snacker, but I definitely keep an eye on the ingredient list and portion sizes, so that I don't go overboard. This means I no longer eat a pound of pretzels at a time or down a whole bag of Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Sadly, I've retired my Flamin' Hot Cheetos habit altogether. I just don't want to put that stuff in my body anymore.

That said, I'm always on the lookout for new, delicious snacks that I can justify putting in my body, and happily, more and more options are regularly entering the market.

I had the chance to taste test these bad boys, and let me tell you, they are awesome! Not only are the Cheddar Sticks legitimately good enough to replace my long lost Cheetos, the serving sizes are practically in line with my pretzel-scarfing habit. Thirty-nine sticks makes up a serving... 39! That's a lot of sticks. And with no preservatives, cholesterol, sugar, saturated or trans fats, you're looking at a pretty healthy little morsel.

It wasn't just the Cheddar flavor that was a hit, though. I was able to come up with an awesome new variation of Green Bean Casserole using the Sour Cream & Onion flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed snacking on the Sea Salt and Veggie Sticks as well.

Unfortunately, my husband also enjoyed munching on them and they disappeared way too fast!

Of course, like any snack, you still have to be smart about portions and diligently fit it into a healthy nutrition plan, but there's certainly no reason to put LesserEvil onto the "no-no" list!

Bonus Points: All three of the flavored Krinkle Sticks (Cheddar, Sour Cream & Onion and Sea Salt) are gluten free and all four (including the Veggie flavor) are Kosher!
